The Gibraltar Trade Center, in MT. Clemens Michigan was the location for the 2008 CFC Annual held in conjunction with the NPA.
Plenty of room in this building, from what I have heard there were over 7000 pigeons showed and the amount of people was amazing. I guess there still are alot of people interested in the hobby.
A good contingency of Canadians showed up this year being so close to the border. In this photo Jerry Macerollo and Bob Pommer pose for the momment before judging starts.
In this photo judge Ewe Frommolt and his wife Annette(The Interpreter), get ready to judge a little over 250 fantails.
Step two was the translation from Annette to the exhibitors, after half of the show had passed Ewe surprisingly was telling some of his own remarks.
Step one was Ewe telling his wife his thoughts and comments about the class.
Lance Christensen did almost all the turning for Ewe and also pretty much keep everone in gear to bring their fantails up in time. Interestingly enough when it was time to judge Grand Champion it was a team effort of Ewe and his wife.
Tense exhibitors wait for classes to be judged, on an interesting note there were many breeders in attendance that did not show but came for the action.
The hard working team of the Bemmis family kept everything in order, on behalf of fellow breeder's in attendance we thank you for you hard work.
You have to wonder what's so funny, in this photo Ewe, Lance and Brian have a good chuckle going, what for I do not know.
Without them we would be lost, the wife support team of Mrs Schabert and Mrs Wallace
In the show ring they are ruthless, nah! Just kidding, John Ferber and Amir pose for the cammera before setting down a fantail.
Jamie Purpura ran the auction this year, in this photo he is auctioning of a check hen and a dun hen from Falcone
